Smart Monitoring Systems for Data Centers, Closets, and Server Rooms

June 26, 2017

Data centers are critical to many IoT applications, requiring protection from high temperatures, moisture, and unauthorized physical access. Additionally, data centers need to be monitored for energy use and consumption. Traditional IoT edge technologies implemented as part of a wireless sensor network (WSN) can help reduce costs by monitoring and reporting on data center environments.

Specifically, this Monnit Corporation white paper will teach data center operators about:

  • Key concerns driving the data center monitoring market
  • The architecture of WSN solutions operating in data center environments
  • How solutions such as Monnit’s AC Current-meter can be deployed to optimize data center energy consumption
